On October 1st, 1974, my first grandchild, Christy was born to my oldest son and his wife.
We were all thrilled.
Soon after the birth Christy became very ill. They told her dad there was no hope for her recovery even though she had had a total blood transfer.
The very next day after the transfer, her situation worsened. My son called and my first instinct was to rush to the hospital, but my son told me, "Mother, just pray."
As I was driving the 12 miles to work praying every breath, about half way to work, I suddenly started singing a song I had never heard before. I sang it all the other 6 miles to work.
When I turned the key in the door I ran to the phone that was ringing. My son said "Mother, she has turned around on her own and the doctor says she is fine."
This song is the one the Lord gave to me in my time of concern for Christy. By the way...Christy is still fine and has her own little daughter now.
