The Mark of The Beast

And what is said in the Bible about what will happen right before the coming of the Lord.

I am Louse Haney with Love The Lord Ministries, the penman of the Love The Lord Bible Studies on the entire King James Version of the Bible covering every verse.  So many people are concerned about troubles around the world. They want answers. The Bible itself is the only answer.  In our society today are many things happening that I see as the beginning of tribulation which leads up to the coming of the Lord and the rapture of the church.

So many young people are not familiar with the mark of the beast.  They do not know that taking the mark of the beast under the skin of the right hand or under the skin of their forehead would be punished by God Himself and would make them unacceptable to go to heaven.

I will quote Revelation the 14th chapter verses 9-11 to explain how serious this is.  I quote v.9: “and the third angel followed them saying, with a loud voice, ‘If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand’, v.10, ‘the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb’ v.11, ‘and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever!’ And they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.’”

I know many people would stop right here and ask why is this going to happen?  2 Timothy chapter 3 starting with verse 1,”This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. Now we command you brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly and not after the tradition which he received of us. Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth, men of corrupt minds reprobate concerning the faith.”

All of this above is describing our generation, Others will ask when shall this happen?  Mark chapter 13 verses 4-10 have this to say: “Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering began to say, ‘Take heed lest any man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ, and shall deceive many.  And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled, for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places, and there shall be famines and troubles, these are the beginning of sorrows, but take heed to yourselves; for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake for a testimony against them, and the gospel must be published among all nations”.

The rest of this is explaining what the Holy Spirit leads you to say to help you.  It also states that many of your own family will be opposed to you, but you must not give in to anyone’s device.  You must stay faithful to God and not listen to unbelievers. I will show you in Mark chapter 3 verses 26 and 27, the rewards you will have: v-26 “and then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory,” v-27 “and then shall He send His angels; and shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”

We had jumped into why and when but now we need to go back into details about this.  In our society today, I see many things happening that are of the coming of the end of the age of the Gentiles, the mark of the beast, and the soon coming of the Lord Jesus.  It is also associated with the rapture of the church.  God in the Bible has left many scriptures that indicate the time is very near.

One of the worldly signs is the computer age we live in. Another sign is the fact that we can buy and sell without the currency of our day.  Credit cards are used to pay for anything and everything we buy.  The new credit cards even have a chip in them for identification.  This is a fore-runner of receiving a number under the skin of your right hand or under the skin of your forehead.  The excuse putting this in our hand or forehead is that we might lose this if it is a card which can be lost or stolen.  A few large companies now are requiring a number under the workers hand to identify them and allow them to enter the door where they work.

Many of the preachers of the Bible are preaching that the Christians will be raptured into heaven before troubles come.  I have not found one Scripture that says that.  I will show a few of the Scriptures that say we will be here for three and a half years of tribulation which is half of the seven years (three and a half years of tribulation and three and a half year of God’s wrath).  The Hebrew people will be here for both three and a half year periods including the wrath of God.  The Christians are taken to heaven 45 days after the three and a half years of tribulation.  I will show Scriptures that speak of the time for the Christians and the seven years the Hebrews are here including the wrath of God here on the earth.

The following are lists of the three and a half years of tribulation. Time, times and half a time is three and a half years. Forty two months is three and a half years. Twelve hundred and ninety days is also three and a half years plus a few days. Twelve hundred and thirty days is just a few days short of three and a half years.  I will quote some of the Scriptures that verify this. Daniel 12:7 “and I heard the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and sware by him that liveth forever that it shall be for a time, times and half, and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished”. Daniel 12:10 “Many shall be purified and made white and tried, but the world shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand”.  Daniel 12:11 “and the time of the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days”. Daniel 12:12 “blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred five and thirty days”.  This is three and a half years plus 45 days.  I believe these 45 days Christians must refuse the mark of the beast. Daniel 12:13 “But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of days”.  All of these times are speaking of three and a half years. Revelation 11:2 “But the courts without the temple leave out and measure it not for it is given to the Gentiles and the Holy City shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (3-1/2 years).  Revelation 11:3 “and I will give power unto my two witnesses and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and three score days clothed in sackcloth”.  Revelation 12:6 “and the woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a pace prepared of God, and they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days” (3-12 years).  All of these times are speaking of three and a half years the Christians are here before the rapture.

The Hebrews are here for seven years; 3-1/2 years for tribulation and 3-1/2 years of the wrath of God.  Revelation 7:2-8 “and I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the Living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zebulun were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand”.   In the 9th verse we see that the believers in Jesus are already in heaven. Verse 9 “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;” Verse 10 “And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”  Verse 11 “And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God.” Verse 12 “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.”  Verse 13 “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they?” Verse 14 “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest, And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Verse 15 “Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in the temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.”  Verse 16 “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat,” Verse 17 “for the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them into living fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”  This is obvious that the Christians are in heaven with Lod Jesus.

The following Scriptures prove that the Christians were on earth for 3-1/2 years of the great tribulation but are not here for the wrath of God, the last 3-1/2 years of the seven years.  The Hebrews are here for all seven years.  Matthew 24 verses 1-2 “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all these things?  Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”  This temple was physically torn down forty years later.  Verse 3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming? And of the end of the world?”  The temple of his body was destroyed in just a few days. For our generation needs to know when He is coming back and the end of the world as we know it.  He does not give a specific day or number of years.  About 2000 years have passed and we are still asking when will this be?  Verse 4 “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” The next verses are reaching out to our time.  Verses 5-8 “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”  Many of these things are happening now.  Verse 9 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”  Many Christians around the world are being beheaded now if they will not deny faith in Jesus.  Verses 10=11 “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”  Even many in false religions are guilty of this right now.  Verses 12-13 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.”  I personally believe Christians must endure this for 3-1/2 years plus 45 days before Jesus calls us to heaven.  Verse 14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”  This is already happening.  Even, the Love the Lord Bible study is in every country of the world by a few people and missionary people are doing this also.  Television ministry is being broadcast around the world.  Verses 15-18 “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoso readeth let him understand) then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains. Let him which is in the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.”  These must run to safety quickly.  Verses 19 “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days.”  These are Hebrews running to a safe place to hide.  In the 16th chapter of Revelation we see terrible things happening on the earth.  The Hebrews will have to face: hail, fire and blood cast upon the earth; 1/3 of the trees burned up; 1/3 of the sun made blood; 1/3 of creatures killed; 1/3 of ships destroyed; 1/3 of rivers made bitter; 1/3 time the sun is darkened; star falls into the abyss; men beg to die; army from Euphrates destroys 1/3 of people; voices in heaven judgment; earthquakes and hail.

Verses 20-24 “But pray ye that your flight be not in winter, neither on the sabbath day, for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.  Then if any man shall say unto you, lo, here is Christ, or there, believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”  There are some people pretending to be Christ (even now).  They are liars.  There is only one and His name is Jesus.  Matthew 24:25-27 “Behold I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, behold, he is in the desert; go not forth, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.”  This one statement is the reason many churches face the east.  Most graves face the east as well.  Verses 28-29 “For wheresoever the carcass is there wil the eagles be gathered together.  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”  The entire 7 years of the great tribulation are broken into two 3-1/2 year periods.  The first 3-1/2 years for the tribulation and the second 3-1/2 years for the wrath of God.  Again, the first 3-1/2 years the Christians will be here but after that time plus 45 days, they are received into heaven.  The Hebrews are here for all 7 years.  They face the tribulation and the wrath of God. (There will be no light on earth. Stars falling from heaven will be terrifying.  This is the last 3-1/2 years.)

Verse 30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”  Jesus went to heaven in a cloud, and the angels told the disciples that were looking on, that He would come back the same way He went.  This is speaking of the fulfilment of that prophecy.  He truly does come back in the cloud. We see Him with power and great glory.  He will be in His godly attire.  We will surely know who He is with His eyes like flaming fire.  His white hair will show Him as the ancient of ages, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He has always been that but now everyone will realize who He is.  He has come to take all of His family home.  Verse 31 “And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”  This is the silver trumpet. Silver means redemption.  The four is showing us they are from all over the world.  Silver here is the last mention of silver because all He calls are redeemed.  There is no mention of silver in heaven because we have already been redeemed.  There is only gold in the presence of God.  This gathering together is commonly called the rapture of all believers in Jesus.  There are no separations or denominations in heaven.  All believers in Jesus are welcome in heaven with Him.

Verses 32-33 “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”  The fig tree is symbolic of Israel as a nation.  This is speaking of Israel becoming a nation again which happened in 1948.  When you see Israel united as its own nation again, know that the coming of the Lord is near.  Verse 34 “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled.”  This is dating approximately the coming of the Lord.  A generation can be 40 years, a generation can also be 70 years or 120 years.  If 40 years is correct then 1988 would have been Jesus’ coming.  If it is 70 years His coming would be in 2018.  If 120 years is correct it would be in 2068.  In my opinion, it is very near because all of the things that happen right before His coming have already happened.  I believe His coming is very near.  Verses 35-42 “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of No’e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and given in marriage, until the day that No’e entered the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away: so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Then shall two be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women shall be grinding at the mill the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”  Each person will be judged and taken by Jesus to heaven or left behind because they are not saved. (We should be helping everyone find Jesus so they will be ready too.)

Verse 43 “But know this, that if the good man had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.”  In my opinion, this is speaking of Christians.  We should stay faithful and not lax in our effort to bring our family and friends to Jesus so they will not be left behind.  Some Christians are not growing and have started being careless with their worship.  Some come to church more to be entertained than to study the Bible.  We must stay faithful seeking a deeper walk with Jesus.  Verse 44 “Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.”  I would say be prayed up and be ready to go when the trumpet sounds.  Do not let salvation wait until tomorrow.  It might be too late.  Verses 45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?  Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”  Jesus will reward those who are faithful.  Ministers are servants to their people.  The Lord chooses those He can trust with authority.  Verse 47 “Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.”  There is a Scripture in Revelation that says those who are faithful will reign with Jesus when He sets up His kingdom on the earth for a thousand years.  Verses 48-51 “But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, my lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  The hypocrite preacher is someone who preaches one thing and does another entirely different.  This person should not be preaching.  He or she should be setting a good example as well as preaching to others.  God will say to this terrible preacher (who does not help his congregation), Get away from me I never knew you.  You see we may fool the world, but God knows our heart.  We cannot fool God.

Daniel’s Prophecy of End Times

We will begin this section in Daniel Chapter 12.

Verse 1 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be found written in the book.”  First of all, we must see that Michael is a ministering spirit to the believers.  He is actually an archangel over the other angels.  His ministry is directly under the instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We know the time mentioned here is the end of the Gentile age.  In chapter 11, we were brought to the time of the end. Notice the word “and” which connects this with the end of the last chapter.  This time of trouble is speaking of the great tribulation. Notice also, that the deliverance of those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book is not before this time, but during it.  To have your name written in the book means you are saved. (This speaks of our time.)

Daniel 12:2 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting shame and everlasting contempt.”  You can read a great deal more of this in 1 Thessalonians 4 beginning with verse 13.  This is actually when the dead come out of the graves to the great judgement of God.  Jesus is the judge of all the earth. Jesus (after judging them) says some receive everlasting life for true believers.  Those who are not believers will go to the lake of fire.  Matthew 25:46 “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal.”

Daniel 12:3 “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness as the stars for ever and ever.”  Matthew 13:43 “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”  I love the statement in James 5:20 “Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”

Daniel 12:4 “But thou, o Daniel, shut up the word, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”  World knowledge is at an all time high right now.  People truly are running to and fro.  Cars are filling up the freeways.  This is a perfect description of people going to and fro.  Chapter 12 of Daniel is certainly looking ahead to our time.  I believe this is speaking of our time and is near the coming of the Lord.

Daniel 12:5 “Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.”  The message is important here, not the carrier of the message.  Verse 6 “And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?”  No one but Jesus would be on the water.  No one had the answers, but Jesus.  In Matthew 24:3 He was asked the same question.  Verse 7 “I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth forever that it should be for a time, times and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”  These Christians lived through this for 3-1/2 years and their work on earth was finished and they went to heaven.  Verse 8 “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?”  His understanding has to come from Jesus, as our understanding has to come from Jesus.

Daniel 12:9 “And he said, go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”  These things will be understood better by the people now.  Again, I believe we are living in this time.  Verse 10 “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”  Wisdom is a gift from God. Only those who are saved and sold out to God will understand.  Revelation 9:14 says it best: “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest and he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”  The Christians are here for 3-1/2 years plus 45 days of tribulation before they are raptured into heaven to be with Jesus.  The wicked are living for this life. Christians are looking forward for an eternity with Jesus.

Daniel 12:11 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.”  This is a time when all worship as we know it, will be stopped.  This is the middle of the seven years of the great tribulation.  This abomination is something that is worshipped instead of God.  We need to look carefully at the next verse.  It speaks of the Christians being here for 3-1/2 years plus 45 days before the Christians are carried away to heaven to be with Jesus.

Daniel 12:12 “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”  The Christians are the blessed.  The time is 3-1/2 years plus 45 days.  These extra 45 days we have to refuse the mark of the beast.  In Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”  We are not saved from tribulation (3-1/2 years plus 45 days). We are saved from the wrath of God (the last 3-1/2 years which occurs the last of the seven year period).  The Hebrews are here for the entire seven years.

Daniel 12:13 “But go thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of days.”   Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things, that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”  Every person who ever lived will stand before Jesus to be judged.  Those who did not accept Jesus as their Savior will be guilty and spend eternity in torment.  The Christians will be with Jesus for all eternity. Salvation is a free gift to those who are faithful to Jesus.

WHAT CHOICE WILL YOU MAKE?
